WHAT OTHERS DO: The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and in the office, that is, in inadequate conditions. WHAT I DO: The patient is discussed with the changes they want, including Botox, filler material, removal of bichat bags, neck liposuction, cupulotomy of the nasal tip. The procedure is performed in the operating room with an anesthesiologist.

WHAT OTHERS DO: Use toxins from different countries with questionable health supervision. They make large dilutions and put in minimal units of the toxin. WHAT I DO: I only use original Botox®, I dilute it in 1cc. I do not put Botox in areas, only full face and the complete vial (100 U) is the patient's, I open it and show it at the moment.

WHAT OTHERS DO: Multiple questionable and short-lasting brands are used. Prices are laughable and you will probably only use one syringe. WHAT I DO: I only use Juvederm which is from the same Allergan company as Botox®. I use both syringes on one patient.

WHAT OTHERS DO: They use barbed threads, which often behave like a foreign body and the spicules break. WHAT I DO: I use Bellalift threads (polycaprolactone), which have cones instead of spicules. They are 100% biocompatible and 100% absorbable, they are approved by the FDA (USA) and last between 12 and 18 months.
